Bukit Bintang ~ Elcedor (Nose to Tail Eating)

Porklicious! This is what I can regard when we paid our visit to this fine dining at Changkat Bukit Bintang. A few days before, I had already went online to check the feedback of those who had paid a visit to this pork oriented fine dining! :) It was drizzling when we was about to reach. Traffic condition there were packed...as roads are very narrow and the time that reached was about 8pm, time when everyone dine. They have jokey parking but I refused to because they are going to cause you a bomb! So what I did was I parked my car across the street at a lil car park cum car wash, right opposite the Radius Internation Hotel. Its gona cost you RM10...among the cheapest you can get in the town area.

Well, we walked across the street and from far we saw the elegant sign board stated "Elcedor" from far...we were so excited looking across the street expecting something extraordinary! we were looking at the menu and had a glance thru it and decided that this is the ONE!

Here is where we reached.....nice...

After we had our sit,we being served and given the menu. The service here is fantastic and the people are friendly. We were served with the warmest welcoming greetings. Later we were greeted with the astounding menu and we decided to order for these two dishes after a long thought.

One plate of 4 different mini Sausages
Farmer - Thuringer - German Pepper - Spicy Lyoner with mustard sauerkraut and potato Salad
Marinated Port Shoulder Steak
Marinated for 48 hours, with the finest paprika, herbs, onion, garlic and mild dijon mustard

While we were waiting for our food to be served, we looked around and many PIGS you can find it here ~~^.^

Even in the toilet itself, see haha..!

We were anticipating for the meal and while chit chating we observed the table next us to made an order on the suckling pigglet and the way they present their meal was so special. The waiter or waitress will serve the meal and giving two plates for the customer and to ask them to make a wish. The wish can be financial or relationship related. Once you have made the wish, you cut the pork using the plate and then break it into a bucket. That is the speciality in Elcedor.

In a short while, on our table, in front of us, it appear to have the tea that we order which is Aged Agate. Hem...tasted 'okok' lar...not really special, just you will feel it 'wangi' :p

In another short lil while...appeared on our table is the Green Peas Soup...and I am going to tell you that, it is really fantastic! You will never be able to resist this because it is just too nice. Although this is just complimentary, but I feel like asking for more. I was shy, so I refrained from asking for another one. It looks somewhat like this!

Aha!, this is our first fantastic meal...the different types of sausages (Farmer - Thuringer - German Pepper - Spicy Lyoner) blended with the mustard Sauerkraut was just hit the list of my delicious dishes! The four different taste of sausages seems appealing ... and I like them. It's a must try with the mustard because that will bring out the real taste of the sausages. The Germans eat it with the saying, finger licking good!

And at last it came our long waited meal, the Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak...The pork was marinated for long enough to travel from Malaysia to USA...haha...that exaggerating but you try it and believe yourself! I never expected that is tasting good. Well, this makes us feels satisfied truly and it worth the money you spent. No wine that night, because it was costly. But special occassions will just make it sweet with your partners.

You can also check it out from the site below if you want to bring your friends, family and love one to taste it! :)

KL ~ Revolving Restaurant in KL Tower, it spins!

Oh hi, its another nice place that we have been on our beautiful day, 9th June 2008. We went to this place in KL Tower, its 280 meter above the sea level through the very fast lift that brought us up to this restaurant called, Revolving Restaurant or also known as Restaurant Angkasaraya. Booking has to be done over the phone (03-20205055) and the restaurant is located at TH02 at Menara Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Puncak, Off Jalan P. Ramlee. When we first got into the building its like just a normal building with tight security that we have to be guided to the fast pace lift to the almost the top of the tower.

When we got into the building, we got to the information counter to retrieve our booking number and head straight up there. Oh, you would just get fascinated of how fast the lift could bring you onto a speed that in seconds you got up there! Our ears shuts! :) When we got in there, it gave us a feeling of spining, cause the restaurant is actually turning 360 degrees having a bird eye view of the whole night life in KL. Great!

We were brought to our seat, number 43 that we have "accidentally" confiscated the table number with us back. Anyway, we did not hesitate to walk around with full of hunger in ourself. There are choice of buffet and ala carte menu. :) we chosen buffet..haha, cause we were so hungry and tempted by the food there when we were walking in. There are some photos that we have frantically taken to share with you guys. Lets come over here...let us show you...

Oh our left, this is the satay...I am just very hungry now when I am mentioning about this, its really delicious! With the rich and tasteful sauce it really going to spice your taste bud up. It is just delicious, really, trust me! If you don't trust me, trust your own taste buds! hahah...

And this? you might be questioning what is this...Its fried muscles which taste a little hot but you will never regret it.

This is the view from the revolving restaurant of the night of Kuala Lumpur. Beautiful isn't it?

They serve tasty food. Good soup, but we do not like the sup tulang rawan, because it taste a lil too spicy and for those who do not like spicy do take note of this ya :). But generally their soup is YUM! The Japanese food are so so, compared to the Japanese food served at the authentic Japanese Fine Dining like Mizu. Their local food are just good. Do try.

From the photo above, this station serve some local delight. Satays, soups, salads and seafood spread.

Seafood! I like prawn, and they taste well to my buds. :)

This stall lookalike, it serves local delicacies. You don't want to miss this.

And I would want you to just nibble this. You will pick a few. Its big fresh prawn fried with cheese in there...argh...is it opened now? Let's call, what to wait?

After a few rounds of battle with the delicious foods, its time to get your mouth washed with some deserts. They are cute aren't they? They are just not only good.

Scallops in there? wuh, desert huh...

Comon' stop by for deserts.

The place we were sitting, they change every seconds. :) spining restaurant.

Ice cream lovers, you are not missed. Here you can sniff some.

Last but not least, I love this the most! You have to try if you see this. I repeat! You have to try. Best try!

Due to safety reason, they do not cook the food in the tower, but food are cooked at Restaurant Seri Melayu and kept on warmers. The restaurant opens daily from 12.00pm to 3.00pm for lunch and 6.30pm to 11.00pm for dinner. Just remember no shorts are allowed or you will be given sarong to wear when you are dining here. Let yourself to have at least 1 hour and 20 minutes there to allow yourself to see the whole scenery of KL as the spinning is taking that long. For song lovers, you can also pick your song and there is a pianist, a real good one. :) For comers, the buffet will cost you approx RM 150 ++ per pax. ENJOY!

9th May 2008! Stepping into Cafe Cafe will leave you a remarkable experience that you can head back with a definite decision to spread the wonderful touch and feel. Today was a wonderful and memorable day and thus, we got ourself to try out a new place at KL, call Cafe Cafe. I found this place through blogs and they have been describing this place to be very nice, good food as well as a good place to visit again. More importantly the environment is just ideal for marriage proposal! We never believed how nice and magnificent the environment was until we reached and got to the place.

Not only that which fascinated us, the food was just superb!...we got there and ordered 3 main course! ... It was a nice blend of environment and food made the place just a brilliant and splendid place for dining.

When we got into the Restaurant - Cafe Cafe, we saw the room in the restaurant we filled with some shinny diamond look-alike ornaments hanging all around the beautifully dimmed light. Although, the area was not as spacious, however, it created a condusive environment with it gorgeous decoration with fine-looking beautification...was a soothing environment. Moreover, the waiters are all so informative. If you have doubt and questions onto the menu and any meal, just raise to them and they will attend to you helpfully.

This is a the view from the second floor of the restaurant. This section only openned with booking of 12 pax and above. They serve the same menu but if you wish to have some specialtist, they will work it out for you! Wonderful isn't it?

It's a walk way to the second floor. Beautifully decorated. Nice place for guys to bring your girlfriend for a fine dining! Romantic are they?

Foie Gras with Scallops! I tell you, you must try this! You know what's foie gras? They are goose liver. This is their signature dish and you will definitely regret if you don't try this. THe scallops was delicious!!! YAM! I felt very hungry now! The dish was served with salads and really nice blended sauce. WOW! My Baby, Love this dish so so so so much!

This is the starter aren't they? Bread? Nice .... They served with garlic butter! WOW!

This is another wow! NICE... really delicious...Aw..! Speechless on this. Just splendid! A must try!

Lamb Racks..Well, this is simply appetizing. Eventhough we have reached to the last meal, our stomach were filled and satisfied but this dish was very tempting though. Good source.
